As
per the thematic assembly, class VB gave a presentation on Chandigarh- the
Garden city of India.
On
the first day students gave a brief introduction of the union territory and its
neighbouring states.
The
following day they explained about the city plan of Chandigarh as it was the
first and most well planned city in India.
The
next day students enacted roles of some of the famous sports personalities from
Chandigarh.
On
the fourth day students were dressed up colourfully in traditional clothes and
danced around a bonfire depicting the famous festivals of Chandigarh.
Students
gave a power point presentation on tourism of Chandigarh on the fifth day.
The
last day was allotted to the quiz, where students of class VB ask questions
based on Chandigarh and the other students have to answer to them.
Overall,
it was a knowledgeable experience for the students.
