The theme
of the assembly (from 8/7/13-12/7/13) for class V was ‘Alluri Sita Rama Raju –
The Hero of the Jungles.
On the
first day there was a brief introduction of Alluri Sita Rama Raju.
On the second
day a PowerPoint presentation was shown detailing Alluri’s earlier life and the
revolution he started against the British.
On the
third day, a skit on Rampa rebellion started by Alluri was performed.
On the
fourth day, a video was shown on how Alluri surrendered himself to the British and
the famous song ‘Telugu Veera Levara’ was played.
On the fifth
day, a quiz was conducted based on the four days of assembly presentation.
