school carved a niche for himself once again. He bagged Silver medal in the Commonwealth
Chess Championship – 2012, in under-8 category held at Chennai from 22/11/12 to
1/12/12. Around 300 players including top players from all the commonwealth
countries participated in the prestigious International event organized by Commonwealth
Chess Association.
Raja Rithvik received silver medal and Merit Certificate from Sri.
J.C.D prabhakar, President of All India Chess Federation at Chennai in a prize
distribution function in which Sri Krishna Machari Srikanth, Former Captain of
Indian Cricket Team also Participated. He has international rating (ELO rating)
of 1536 and is being trained by reputed coach Sri.K.Narshimha Rao for last two
years.
Though winning has become a matter of routine to Raja Rithvik, his
success makes everyone proud. The school wishes him all the best in his future endeavors
and we hope he would bring credit to the country in the forthcoming Asian event.
