Class VA was on duty from 8th
October 2012 to 12th October 2012. Theme given was- Karnataka.
1stday: Students presented
the theme by giving an introduction to the state. The capital city was
introduced along with other neighbouring states. Students were dressed up to
represent each state.
2ndday: Students presented an
act based on how Karnataka got its capital city named Bengaluru.
3rdday: Students depicted the
most famous Mysore Dasara.
4thday: PowerPoint
presentation on culture and tourism of Karnataka.
5thday: Students dressed
themselves as tigers to perform tiger dance which is one
of the folk dances of the state.
Throughout the
thematic assembly enthusiasm, commitment, eagerness, helping nature and
cooperation were observed among the students. The assembly acted as a platform
for the students to let go their stage fear and build up confidence to perform.
